I have recieved the PC and am extremely happy with it. I was very pleased with the stage by stage update on the status of my order too, I found that very informative and its a brilliant addition to your website/business. The build did take quite a while, but I was informed of that soon after ordering, and I can totally unstand why, with so many triple-A titles coming out this winter, I can see a lot of people upgrading their PCs. Battlefield 3 and Skyrim were the two games that helped me to decide now was the right time to get a new PC.

I will definitely be ordering with you again, probably about 5 years down the line, when this PC is old, and there are some new triple-A games on the horizon.

I know I chose the system from your web site which by the way was extremely easy to use, however the components and build is absolutely spot on.

I first bought a PC from you in 2004 after I saw it featured in the Custom PC magazine (issue 005 February 2004 Scan 3XS OC) it was one of your first overclocked units and I was very impressed so I bought one and was not disappointed. Build quality and attention to detail are excellent. This is the second system I have had built by yourselves, and you have repaid my trust.

I am particularly impressed by the low noise level from fans etc - for such a powerful system, this is very creditable, and if I'm honest, quite a relief!

Perhaps the one factor that diminished the overall experience was uncertainty over the delivery schedule. Days went by with the website indicating 'complete', but I was left wondering what was happening. I stumbled upon negative comments on a web forum, and this went some way to explaining it. A little extra communication would have been valuable here...

Overall - well pleased with the system. Please pass on my thanks to the team.

I received the machine yesterday and it is working absolutely fine. I am very impressed with the build quality and the level of system noise, it's so quiet it's hard to tell whether it is switched on or not! I actually purchased this machine for my father and having spent some time setting it up I feel I may have to get one for myself as well. It makes my existing, 'quiet', audio workstation seem noisy in comparison.

This is my second purchase from Scan and because of the pre- and post-sales service of the first one, I did not even look at any other vendors when it came to buying this machine.

The service has been great as usual - I do like the way information about the status is sent every step of the way and also appreciated being informed of the problem with the chipset and being given options as to the approach I wanted to take (another pre-sales good example).

Although the person who delivered the machine (very personable and friendly) offered to set my machine up for me, I elected to do it myself. You can't possibly miss the internal bubble wrap - plenty warning and you can see it through the case :)

The machine worked perfectly from the moment I powered it up.

I then wiped the disk and installed Windows 7 Ultimate. Providing the very easy to install drivers disk was marvellous - got everything recognised and running within in hours of starting the software rebuild.

The only thing I have not seen, is Windows reporting the over-clocked speed under Computer Properties. The gentleman who delivered the machine did say that it would only show up after a load had been placed on the machine, but have not seen it yet.

Another satisfied Scan customer.

I am very happy with the service provided by Scan. The consistent communication via email once the build began was great. The delivery service by netsolve was very good too, and I had the delivery by 2pm the day it was supposed to arrive. The machine itself is up and running smoothly and is working most excellently. I was pleasantly surprised to see screenshots on the desktop of all the tests your engineers ran. That was a nice touch.

Overall I am very happy, and it more than makes up for a very unfortunate situation a few years ago when I tried to get a new PC then, and the company I bought it from went into voluntary liquidation, which resulted in no PC and no money back.

Just wanted to say that so far the machine is beyond my expectation.

Flawless build inside the machine. No, really - how do you guys get it so neat? Best I've seen, and I've owned a few Alienware machines before they got bought out.

Excellent build quality. The machine is running stable, extremely fast and the first game I ran up had me smiling ear to ear at the 200 frames per second.

I can confirm that the system has arrived safely and preliminary 'testing' suggests that all is well. The packaging was extremely thorough and effective.

May I congratulate your technicians - the inside of the case is the tidiest layout that I have ever seen inside a computer (let alone one that I owned) - I am very impressed.

There may well be questions to come but for now I am decorating and reorganising my study to accommodate the new system so further exploration and evaluation will be in a few days time.

May I say that it is this level of attention to detail and service that means I have selected Scan Computers as our preferred supplier for workstations (previously DELL).

I hope that you can improve on the lead times for system delivery in future, but you have managed expectations very well and I always felt that you were keeping me in the loop. Being able to see just what a thorough and high quality job you are doing in preparing each machine is extremely rare nowadays and I recommend your company to everyone.

I would just like to take the time to say a huge thank you to Scan and the 3XS team. This was my first time ordering from Scan so ofcourse I had to look around for other deals but no where offered what scan could at such a great price. I placed my order and within a few minutes I had received 2 emails saying that they had received my order and were already processing it and getting ready to send my Invoice over to the 3xs guys which was pretty amazing.

From experience working as a Customer Services Advisor myself, I know how busy and hard it can get at times. Within a few days I received another email telling me my system had been given a date for build. I was updated from start to finish and if I was ever in doubt a simple email reply to scan was answered within a few hours! I received my system a week or so later, Massive box in a bed of bubble rap and inside another box with the system, Not a chance of any damage. All I can say is this was the best service I've had from any company and would totally recommend to anyone. Huge thank you to scan and the 3xs team!
